Whether you call them live wildlife cameras, webcams, nest cams or wildlife cams, they're all here, streaming live from the English countryside. Choose a camera below to watch it live. Turn the sound up for owl screeches, rustling badgers and the dawn chorus. For every camera at once, try the multicam.
Why we think these are the UK's best live wildlife cameras
Hello, I'm Paul. Barn Owl Live started with one camera in a barn owl box and has grown into what I believe is the best live wildlife streaming site in the UK, with owl webcams, a badger cam and a fox cam all running at the same time. Here's why I think it's worth a follow:
- More permanent live cameras than anywhere else I know of in the UK. Most wildlife streams come and go with the nesting season. Ours run all year round, day and night, with several cameras live at once.
- Real wild animals, in their own homes. Nothing is staged, fed for the camera or kept in captivity. The owls choose our nest boxes, and the badgers and foxes come and go as they please.
- A hobby, not a business. Barn Owl Live is non-commercial and run for the love of wildlife. It's there to share these amazing animals with as many people as possible.
- Built by someone who knows cameras. I spent over 30 years running a CCTV manufacturing business, so the cameras are set up for sharp pictures and gentle infrared light that doesn't disturb the animals.
- A friendly community. The live chat is full of regular viewers from around the world, with helpful moderators, sightings logs and the occasional owl joke.

Live wildlife webcams in the UK: what makes ours different
There are some wonderful wildlife webcams around the UK, from nature reserves to charities, but most only run during the nesting season or show a single camera. Barn Owl Live is different. Our live owl webcams, badger cam and fox cam stream all year round, so there's always something to watch: owls roosting by day, hunting at dusk and feeding their owlets in summer, and badgers and foxes foraging through the night.
Everything is filmed in the wild in the Peak District National Park. At night, our cameras use infrared light that the animals can't see, so you get clear pictures of nocturnal wildlife without disturbing it.
