Badger Wood stump camera
Moderators and super users can move the camera that looks at the tree stumps by typing these commands in the Badger Wood live chat. Commands work in capitals or lower case, so !owl works as well as !Owl.
!Left- Moves to the left stump and zooms in.
!Rear- Moves to the rear stump and zooms in.
!Right- Moves to the right stump and zooms in.
!Owl- Moves to the branch on the right and zooms in.
!Wide- Returns to the default wide view of the whole scene.
Why the camera sometimes ignores a command
After any command, new camera commands are locked out for 1 minute. This stops the camera darting from place to place, which spoils the view for everyone watching.
After a set amount of time, the camera goes back to the wide view on its own, so there is no need to send it back yourself.
Day and night layouts (moderators only)
Moderators can switch the whole Badger Wood stream between its day and night layouts.
!Day- Switches the stream to the day layout.
!Night- Switches the stream to the night layout.
After a layout change, further layout commands are locked out for 2 minutes. The stream also switches between day and night automatically around sunrise and sunset, so these are only needed to change it early or late.
Want to control the camera? Ask a moderator in chat. Moderators only approve known viewers who have been chatting with us for a while.
