Meet the two stars of this Video: Bella and Buster! Buster is a young male Barn Owl, and you can recognise him in this video with the ring on his right leg. Buster is a little naive and not a great hunter, but Bella sure likes him. In the video, he’s the first owl to fly and land on the perch. Bella is a beautiful female Barn Owl who has been patiently waiting for the Owl of her dreams to come along, which just happened to be Buster. Watch these two Barn owls kiss and communicate on one of their first few dates after meeting. If you put the sound on, you can hear them reaffirming their love for each other. The owl box they’re in is another one I’ve made from an old oak whisky barrel. Inside, it’s rigged with a CCTV camera, so please subscribe to see how this young couple gets on.
